Meaning of “Savage Love” by Jason Derulo and Jawsh 685

So, there’s this vocalist who’s head over heels in love with someone, but sadly, it’s not mutual. He calls it a “savage love” because he thinks she doesn’t give a damn about him. Ouch, that hurts!

According to Jason, the reason she’s with him in the first place is to make her ex jealous. That’s harsh! On top of that, the vocalist thinks he’s being punished for being a “playa.” Oh boy, that’s some karma!

But let’s face it, no matter how hard he tries, she just isn’t interested in committing to their relationship. It’s a tough pill to swallow when you’re crazy about someone, but they don’t feel the same way.

In summary, love isn’t always reciprocal, and it’s tough when you’re on the receiving end of unrequited love. Here’s hoping the vocalist finds someone who loves him back, and his “savage love” becomes a thing of the past.

Jason Derulo Teams Up with Jawsh 685 for “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)”

You’ve probably heard of Jason Derulo, the talented singer from sunny Florida. He’s been making music since 2010 and has some seriously big hits under his belt. His most recent hit, prior to “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat),” was a collab with Ty Dolla $ign and Nicki Minaj back in 2017 called “Swalla.”

But let’s talk about “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)” for a minute. It turns out that the origins of the song go back to when Derulo decided to lay down his vocals over “Laxed (Siren Beat).” At the time, the beat was the creation of Jawsh 685, who was just a 17-year-old high school student. Derulo released the track without officially getting permission from Jawsh, which understandably ticked off the young producer.

After some drama, Derulo decided to credit Jawsh as the song’s producer. But things didn’t stop there. In the end, Jawsh was officially acknowledged not only as the producer but also as the co-writer and co-headliner of “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat).”

The other authors of this catchy tune are Jacob Kasher, Phil Greiss, and of course, Jason Derulo. It’s a product of Columbia Records.

All in all, “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)” is a great collaboration between two talented artists. We can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
